Favorite 5: Fall Decor
Fall decor may be my favorite thing to shop for. I don't really care about decorating for most holidays - Easter, 4th of July, even Halloween are all kind of meh to me for decorating - but the autumn season is EV.ER.Y.THING! I'm all about the way decor makes you feel and the warmth that fall decor pushes through your home makes me feel relaxed and refreshed. That said, I've gathered by Favorite 5 home decor pieces for this year and shared them below.
Frosted Glass Pumpkins from Pottery Barn
They have multiple glass pumpkin options at Pottery Barn right now but I think the frosted are my favorite. I mean honestly, hard to choose. If I could bring home the huge display they have setup in the store window I would. There's really no where to put it but who cares!
Hearth & Hand Wooden Letter Board from Target
It wouldn't be a decor post without throwing in something from Target and/or Hearth & Hand. This wooden letter board is a steal at $24 and would look great in an entry or on a mantel. I've been drooling over the Madera Modern wooden letter boards for almost a year and while I love those this is a great version if you're on a budget.
Brenner Lead Velvet Pillows from Crate and Barrel
Pillows are a quick and easy way to update your home for the season. I'm not a traditional fall color person - orange, brown, red - but I love the more muted colors that have been coming out for the season. This dusty lavender pillow from Crate & Barrel gives you fall feels without being the basic representation of what people think of fall colors.
Wood Tapered Candle Holder from Crate and Barrel
These candle holders are so simple. They pull in the natural vibe of the tree leaves turning that we all associate with fall while being clean and smooth. I can just see these now on a Thanksgiving table with some dark greenery and speckled pottery plates. You can also take these straight into winter if you have a more natural theme going there too. Heck, you can use them all year.
Mrs. Meyer's Multi-Surface Spray - Apple Cider Scent
You guys know how much I love Mrs. Meyer's, especially their Basil scent. Their fall scents are a great way to give your home that "fall smell" without having to burn candles around the clock or use those cinnamon brooms that smell GREAT at the store but pretty much lose their scent the second they make it home. I'm loving the Apple Cider multi-surface and Apple Cider dish soap. You can grab it at Target.
